THE BEST OF WRESTLERS SLAUGHTERING JOBBERS:
* Okay, so there’s a long, proud history of wrestlers taking liberties with job guys who piss them off for some reason, so I figured I’d find a handful of them. I can only imagine at the backstories to some of this- wrestlers being giant liars and all, it’s tricky to find out just WHY some of these dudes apparently had to die, but boy you can tell when it happens.

* An infamous one where Koko just trucks a guy. Koko’s short, squat and muscular in red tights with white trunks over them, and the jobber is some pasty white guy in a blue singlet and a red mask & trunks, with white boots. Well I guess he has the colors, but he’s too cheap to buy stars for his gear?

What the World Was Watching: WCW Main Event – June 25, 1995

–Gene Okerlund and Bobby Heenan do their usual studio duties.  They hype Bash at the Beach, namely the Hulk Hogan-Vader main event.

–Okerlund says that Diamond Dallas Page was recently looking for a house in Malibu.  Heenan refutes the rumor floating around WCW that the Diamond Doll won the money that Page is spending as his own.

–Heenan openly wonders why the Nasty Boys are so popular when they do a move like the Pit Stop.

What the World Was Watching: WCW Saturday Night – May 27, 1995

–Tonight’s show is a hybrid broadcast as some matches were taped at Center Stage in Atlanta, Georgia on May 10 and 11 and others were shown live from Speed Street in Charlotte, North Carolina as part of the Charlotte Speed Street Festival.  Eric Bischoff and Dusty Rhodes are doing commentary in Charlotte, while Tony Schiavone and Bobby Heenan are doing it in Atlanta.

What the World Was Watching: WCW Main Event – May 14, 1995

–Gene Okerlund and Bobby Heenan are in charge of the studio portion of the show.  Okerlund spoils the result of the feature match by calling it a “warm up” match for Ric Flair for Slamboree.

–Heenan picks up a Butcher trading card and says it will soon be a collector’s item because the Butcher has no name anymore.

–Johnny B. Badd and Arn Anderson do dueling promos, with Badd saying that he is coming to get his Television Championship back on tonight’s show.

–Tony Schiavone and Bobby Heenan are doing commentary and they are taped from Atlanta, Georgia.  According to thehistoryofwwe.com, the taping were held on February 8 and attracted 785 fans, none of whom had to pay for their ticket.  WCW Commissioner Nick Bockwinkel comes out and says that he is here to meet with Ric Flair tonight.
