Toni Storm Is A Lifer For AEW

Toni Storm has signed her life to AEW.

After four years in WWE, Toni Storm requested her release in December 2021, later explaining that she was frustrated with the company and felt underappreciated during her time there. Three months later, Storm signed with AEW and has since become one of the company’s biggest stars as ‘Timeless’ Toni Storm.

During an interview with The Sandman, Storm said she was now a “lifer” for the promotion and is currently on a five-year deal, although she didn’t elaborate on whether she was still on her original contract.

“I’m on a five-year deal and I can’t remember how long. But I’m a lifer for AEW. There’s no like, ‘Oh, well, I’ll see what happens’.”

During the discussion, the AEW Women’s World Champion also stated that after she retires from wrestling, she will not be seen in the ring again, nor in any other company.

“When I’m done wrestling, you’ll never see me again. You’ll never see me in any other capacity, or in any other company, for that matter.”

When asked if AEW was it for her, Storm said she was “exclusive” to Tony Khan’s company.

“Exclusive. And then I will vanish with that. There’s no encore.”

“I’m not doing anything else. Where would I go? What would I do? Because I’m on a long deal for AEW. I signed my life to AEW.”

Toni Storm Rules Out WWE Return

After Sandman recalled feeling the same way about ECW before he ended up in WWE and later TNA, Storm admitted that kind of thing does happen, but right now, she’s AEW for life.

“That does happen a lot in wrestling, though. Yes, random, crazy s–t happens but as of now, AEW for life.”

When it comes to a possible WWE return, Storm said she had no interest in going back as she doesn’t fit in with their way of doing things.

“No, and that’s no offense to them, I think they’re great. I understand them for exactly what they are: They’re a machine, they’re a business and I just don’t fit in with their whole schtick and that’s cool.”

“I love a lot of the people that work there. And it’s like yes, get that money, get that power but realistically, in my life, that’s it.”

“I could do another 20 years with AEW”

As confirmed on the September 6th edition of Collision, at AEW All Out, Toni Storm will defend the Women’s World Title in a four-way match against Thekla, Kris Statlander, and Willow Nightingale.
