Syko Stu Discharged From Hopsital Following Attack By Raja Jackason

By Conor Renshaw on 1 September 2025

Independent wrestler Syko Stu is now out of the hospital following the brutal attack on him by Raja Jackson at KnokX Pro Wrestling event on August 23.

Syko Stu’s official Facebook page posted a statement yesterday, letting fans know that he has been discharged from the hospital and is recovering at home. He is in good spirits but faces a long road to recovery.

The statement reads:

“Stuart has been released from the hospital and is now home resting. He sustained a serious head injury and was unconscious upon arrival at the ER. His injuries include trauma to both the upper and lower jaws, a laceration to his upper lip, and a fracture to the maxilla bone, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of several teeth.

He has a long road of recovery ahead, but he remains in good spirits despite everything he has been through.

We are deeply grateful for all the love and support we’ve received during this time. Thank you to everyone who has contributed in any way—whether through monetary donations, food, flowers, or gifts. Your kindness means more than words can express.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

With love and respect,

Contessa Patterson & Stuart Smith (aka SykoStu)”

What Happened To Syko Stu On August 23?

Syko Stu was brutally injured during the KnokX Pro event on the 23rd of August in Los Angeles after MMA fighter, and son of former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Rampage Jackson, Raja Jackson, got into the ring in a planned spot, slammed Stu onto the canvas so hard it rendered him unconscious. Jackson then proceeded to strike Stu numerous times directly in the face until he was pulled off of Stu by other wrestlers.

A GoFundMe campaign was set up for Stu to assist with his medical costs and recovery, and has raised over $216,000 at the time of writing, with contributions from names in wrestling such as Chris Jericho, Finn Balor, Swerve Strickland, and Nic Nemeth.

Wishing Syko Stu a full and speedy recovery!
