Pat McAfee Unlikely to Return to WWE TV

One of the (few remaining) faces of ESPN is likely not to return to WWE anytime soon. Following the announcement of being added to the Monday Night Football pregame coverage panel, the most overworked man on ESPN not named Stephen A. Smith addressed the possibilities of a return, but mostly kept it in kayfabe, saying that he’s honoring his word that if Cody Rhodes were to retain at WrestleMania 42, he would not be seen again.

Of course, in wrestling, never say never. The Pat McAfee Show is live Monday through Friday from Noon to 3pm (ET) and available on the ESPN network of streaming services.
