Naomi Vacates WWE Women’s World Championship As She Announces Pregnancy On Raw
By Conor Renshaw on 19 August 2025
WWE Women’s World Champion Naomi vacated her title last night on Raw as she announced that she and Jimmy Uso are expecting their first child.
The announcement came as Naomi came out to the ring to share a clip from the “What’s Your Story? With Stephanie McMahon” podcast that aired immediately following Raw, and in the clip, Naomi and Jimmy shared that they are expecting their first child together.
She then cut a promo after the clip finished and told Raw GM Adam Pearce that she had to relinquish the title, but then said, “I ain’t handing you s**t”, before telling Pearce to leave the ring. She then said that the female locker room had Uso to thank; otherwise, she would have spent the next year “putting them in the ground.”
She concluded her promo by laying the Women’s World Title on the canvas and proclaimed that she would be back in nine months and advised whoever would be holding the title when she returns to proceed with caution.

When Did Naomi Win The WWE Women’s World Title?
Naomi captured the Women’s World Championship at the 2025 Evolution pay-per-view after cashing in her Money in the Bank contract to make the Iyo Sky vs. Rhea Ripley match for the title a Triple Threat. She then hit Sky with the Money in the Bank briefcase, drove Ripley into the ring post and out of the ring, before finally hitting a split-legged Moonsault on Sky to get the three count and the title.
Now that Naomi is no longer Women’s World Champion, who do you think will get the title next? Will they crown a new champion immediately, or will they wait until Clash in Paris? And when Naomi returns, will she go straight back into the title picture?
