Logan Paul “More Motivated Than Ever” After John Cena Match

By Craig Ballantyne on 4 September 2025

Logan Paul believes he can be the greatest entertainer in the world after facing John Cena at WWE Clash in Paris.

At Clash in Paris, Logan Paul went all out as he attempted to defeat John Cena before the star’s retirement at the end of 2025. While he was able to hit Cena with a Buckshot Lariat and Paul From Grace, as well as kicking out of an Attitude Adjustment, he couldn’t put the 17-time World Champion away. The end came when Cena reversed a Crossbody into two more Attitude Adjustments for the victory.

On his latest vlog, Paul admitted that having so many high-profile matches in his career is a “fever dream,” before praising Cena as a mastermind.

“It’s still surreal that I got to go toe-to-toe with another GOAT. Floyd Mayweather, Roman Reigns, and now John Cena. What a fever dream. I’m so grateful for the experience. Although I didn’t come away with my hand raised, I got more victories than I can count.

“Working with John…he’s such a f**king mastermind of the craft and I learned so much. The sentiment for the match, from fans, which is always the most important, has been great. I saw a couple of people saying that is one of Cena’s greatest matches ever, which is crazy, and definitely one of his best matches of the year.

“I’m Ready To F**king Work” – Logan Paul

After the match, Paul says he’s more motivated than ever and ready to prove he can be the best in the world.

“I’m going to stay humble, but I definitely gave the guy a run for his money. He’s very f**king good. I see why he’s the GOAT. I’m leaving Paris more motivated now than ever. I want to work.

“I want to be the biggest entertainer in the world, and I think I proved that I’m capable of doing that. To the WWE audience, to Triple H, I’m ready to f**king work. I proved I have the capability. Put me in, coach. WWE audience, this is the beginning of a very long journey. If you hate me, I’m not going anywhere. If you love me, I’ll see you soon.”
