Dominik Mysterio To Defend WWE Intercontinental Title On Raw

Dominik Mysterio will put his Intercontinental Championship on the line on the September 29th edition of Raw.
On the September 21st episode of Raw, Rusev was seen shoving Dominik in the background of the opening walk-ins. Later in the night, the Bulgarian Brute took on Mysterio’s Judgment Day ally, JD McDonagh.
The match was a one-sided affair, with Rusev getting the submission victory with the Accolade. After the bell rang, Rusev kept the hold locked in while Mysterio watched from the outside. Eventually, it was Finn Balor who made the save for McDonagh, before berating Dominik for not helping.
Later in the show, it was announced that Rusev will finally get his hands on Mysterio next week, and the Intercontinental Championship will be on the line.
Mysterio isn’t the only member of The Judgment Day in action next week, as Raquel Rodriguez will take on Bayley, a week after the troubled star defeated Roxanne Perez.
The show will also see a rematch from Wrestlepalooza, as Jimmy and Jey Uso will once again challenge Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, this time in a Tornado Tag Team match.
