AJ Lee To Join Rhea Ripley’s WarGames Team At WWE Survivor Series

It has been reported that AJ Lee is expected to join Rhea Ripley’s WarGames team for Survivor Series.

Speaking about AJ Lee’s possible role at Survivor Series on Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez said that WWE has Lee pencilled in to be the fifth member of Rhea Ripley’s WarGames team for Survivor Series on November 29.

Alvarez said that the plans are not officially confirmed yet but WWE did tease the possibility of this happening on Monday’s Raw, as after returning to help Maxxine Dupri defeat Becky Lynch for the Women’s Intercontinental Title, Lee, in a backstage segment, was asked by Ripley if they could speak in private and the two walked off together, but it was not known what they spoke of.

When Was AJ Lee’s Last WWE Match?

AJ Lee last competed inside a WWE ring at Wrestlepalooza on September 20, where she teamed with her husband, CM Punk, to defeat the team of Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch to end the feud between the two couples.

Prior to her Wrestlepalooza bout, Lee hadn’t been seen inside a WWE ring since March 30, 2015, as she announced her retirement from the sport in April 2015, citing issues with her spine and that she had accomplished all that she had wanted to in wrestling as her reasons for retirement.
