AEW World Title To Be Defended Inside Steel Cage At Full Gear

The AEW World Title match at Full Gear will now be held inside a steel cage.

On last night’s episode of Dynamite, “Hangman” Adam Page faced The Opps’ Powerhouse Hobbs in a Falls Count Anywhere match and was able to pick up a victory. However, following the match, Katsuyori Shibata came out to attack Page, and then Samoa Joe also came out to join the assault.

The Blood & Guts cage started to lower to trap Page in the ring with The Opps, but Eddie Kingston and Hook came out to even the odds and sent the heels packing. Page then issued the challenge to Joe to make their match at Full Gear on November 22 a Steel Cage match so that there could be no interference from The Opps. AEW later confirmed that the stipulation was officially added to the match.
