Here’s an open thread to take us into the wee hours of the evening!

Welcome everyone to the Saturday Night’s Main Event thread, where we will have a battle royal of posters going at it ALL NIGHT LONG! Meanwhile, I may need to kick one of my coworkers in the nuts. Too bad he’s working from home and sending me messages to make changes. This is going to be a long night.

Here we are, ready for a great night of Blog of Doom action.

SmackDown! tonight features the continuation of the Reigns-Ambrose build toward Fast Lane. Will the brothers-in-arms go at it? More importantly, will anyone care?

There’s sportsball games going on all over the place (although I won’t care until April when baseball starts) and TV shows tonight include the second episode of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow and the first episode of Rob Lowe’s new show, You, Me & the Apocalypse.

And of course, our main attraction is the live watch. Tonight, my co-host Duck – the fowlest man on the BoD – will bring us Judgment Day 2005, with a pretty good John Cena-JBL title rematch.

This has been a weird day for me. Here, talk about things.

We’re coming up to the on-ramp to the Road to WrestleMania, as we’re only two days away from the Royal Rumble. Not that anyone will be watching, what with the football and the X-Files and whatnot. Regardless, I’m looking forward to making my picks in the Saturday thread tomorrow night.

It’s Friday night, which means that if you’re here tonight you’re snowed in (or will be soon). So talk about anything and everything.

It’s the final SmackDown! before the Royal Rumble on Thursday, so expect more shenanigans from the Authority against the chosen one, Roman Reigns.

Of course, you also have a full slate of basketball and hockey on TV. Over on the CW, DC Comics debuts the new Legends of Tomorrow show, starring The Atom, Firestorm, Captain Cold and the White Canary.

The main event of the evening, of course, is Duck’s live watch of WrestleMania 21, starting at 8 p.m.

I’m in the middle of making a quiche for dinner, but there’s stuff to watch and talk about tonight. NXT is on the Network, with a women’s tag team match.

Arrow is back from it’s brief winter break, and maybe tonight we find out who was in the grave. I’m excited.

FINALLY, Flash is back with a new episode tonight! And then, after the new episode, the CW will show back-to-back previews of Legends of Tomorrow (debuting during TNT II on Thursday night) and of the upcoming slate of DC Comics movies.

So, nobody actually cares about the whole Community gag outside of the sweet banner, which barely references, right?

For those of you who care, as we start the new semester, there’s only one History class and we need to compete in the Hunger Deans for seats. Boy, that J-Law is a hottie.

Otherwise, talk about stuff. I need to go pick up food.

It’s a SmackDown kind of night, as we continue on the road to the Road to WrestleMania. We’re still a week and a half away from the show. Plenty of time for WWE to continue trolling us with people we don’t want to see winning the whole she-bang. Also, we’re still four days away from Daniel Bryan being released. Although not really.

There’s also a GOP Presidential debate tonight, so I look forward to things getting silly throughout the evening.

The main event, though, is the LIVE WATCH, as the gang throws on the show that’s so good, it blew out not one but TWO of Vince McMahon’s quads – Royal Rumble 2005 starting at 7:30 p.m.

I finally downloaded the Predator for Mortal Kombat X today, so I’ve been having a heck of a time beating the hell out of people with him today.

We’ve got some NXT action tonight, where they name  a new Number One contender to the NXT Women’s title, along with a bunch of other sports stuff.

I really miss getting up on a Saturday morning, having a bowl of cereal and watching cartoons before wrestling and Saved By The Bell came on. Now I’m drinking coffee and being inundated with news shows instead.

It’s an open thread for a decidely not January-like January morning – it’s going to be 60 in New York City tomorrow! Talk about anything and everything right here.
