Good evening doomers, and welcome to your Evening Daily News Update for Wednesday, September 9th, 2026. Tonight, is a very special episode of AEW Dynamite, celebrating the life and career of Tanea “Rebel” Brooks and to raise awareness of ALS. For those unfamiliar, after several years of unanswered questions and medical concerns, Brooks was diagnosed with ALS (or for you sports fans, Lou Gehrig’s Disease), a terminal illness which impacts motor neurons, effecting speech, movement, and breathing. Tonight, it will be her first appearance on TV since her diagnosis, and in the months since the reveal of her diagnosis, the wrestling world has expressed its support and love for her. You can show your support as well with REBEL HEART, which details her journey through these difficult times, where you can also make donations or purchase merchandise where 100% of the profits go towards I AM ALS and Team Gleason.
