WWE Scrapped Brock Lesnar’s Original WWE SummerSlam 2026 Plan
A new backstage report has claimed WWE originally planned for Brock Lesnar to face Gunther at SummerSlam before creative plans changed. According to Self Made Pro, Gunther had also been scheduled to face Roman Reigns earlier in the year, with those changes leading to a wider reshuffle of WWE’s top storylines. The report added that Lesnar’s current feud with Oba Femi was not the result of him requesting additional matches, noting that the former WWE Champion has been “the least creatively picky” he has ever been during his latest run.
Michin confirms marriage to Keith Lee has ended
WWE’s Michin (Mia Yim) has confirmed that she and Keith Lee are divorced. During a recent livestream, Michin responded to viewers’ questions about their relationship, simply stating, “We are not,” when asked whether they were still together, before confirming they were “divorced.” Neither Michin nor Lee has publicly discussed the reasons behind the split. Michin continues to compete in WWE, while Lee remains signed to AEW despite not having wrestled since 2023.

AEW Sues Queen of the Ring Producers
AEW has filed a lawsuit against Ring Productions LLC, the company behind the 2024 wrestling film Queen of the Ring, alleging it breached a sponsorship agreement. According to the lawsuit, AEW claims it is owed more than $105,000 in unpaid sponsorship fees, talent travel expenses and late fees related to promotional commitments, including sponsored matches, ringside appearances by cast members and promotion of the film. Queen of the Ring, which stars Emily Bett Rickards as wrestling pioneer Mildred Burke, reportedly grossed just over $632,000 at the box office against a reported $7.5 million budget.
