Evening Daily News Update: June 18, 2026

By Garth Holmberg on 18 June 2026

Good evening doomers, and welcome to your Evening Daily News Update for Thursday, June 18th, 2026. Tonight, TNA marches in a new direction and there’s some Soccer (ignores the 1 or 2 of you crying FUTBOL!) and Baseball to enjoy. Do you remember a series of books titled “Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark”? Good stuff.

If you missed the news in last night’s comments, the Duke of Dorchester, Pete Doherty, best known to old school WWF fans for being an eccentric character that worked the Boston market (and did some of the worst color commentary in the history of man) passed away at the age of 81.

In BOD content, Kat’s NXT 2.0 Rewind brings us back to September 21st, 2021, and Phred has his weekly coverage of WWE Evolve.

TNA Impact Preview:
Catch all of the following action tonight, beginning at 9 pm ET on AMC; Matt Hardy, Brother Nero and Moose battle The System, Indi Hartwell takes on Elayna Black, Order 4 faces off with K.C. Navarro, Mike Santana and Nic Nemeth, Ricky Sosa will be in action, and we have Frankie Kazarian’s “King’s Speech” segment with Leon Slater and Cedric the Alexander.

YouTube Spotlight: Goldberg vs. Monsters of WCW!
Watch Goldberg battle some of his most monstrous foes in WCW, including Meng, Bam Bam Bigelow, KroniK, Sid Vicious and more titans of the squared circle!

As always, enjoy yourselves, keep it clean and come out gooning! – GH
