Evening Daily News Update: June 15, 2026

Good evening, doomers, and welcome to your Evening Daily News Update for Monday, June 15th, 2026.

This will be the last time there’s a Knicks/Danhausen related header (at least from me) for the foreseeable future, and I appreciate the understanding in why it has been rolled out often in the last couple of weeks. OUR New York Knicks have ended their 53-year drought and finally reign again as the NBA Champions, which means we’re going to raise a banner for the NBA Title, Eastern Conference Title*, and Emirates Cup on opening night! Heck, we might retire a jersey or two! Is Starbury available that night? Maybe Jerome James! The series concluded late Saturday Night and I’m STILL riding an emotional high. I hope our fellow NBA fans enjoyed the Playoffs, and for those who don’t, thanks for surviving the evenings with us. We have plenty of baseball and wrestling now without interruption… ‘cept for the World Cup.
