Evening Daily News Update: March 24, 2026

Good evening, doomers, and welcome to Tuesday’s Evening Daily News Update, brought to you by McDonald’s, “I’m Lovin’ It.” I’d say try their new Big Arch, but that thing looks diabolical. Anyway, we’re just a short time away from Opening Day for MLB, but until then, we’ve got WWE NXT (preview below) and an assortment of NBA action to tide us over.

WWE NXT Preview:

Lots of the NXT women getting the spotlight tonight, including Fatal Influence vs Wren Sinclair and Kendal Gret, Thea Hail vs Kelani Jordan, appearances from Sol Ruca and Zaria, and hey, Ricky Saints is in action against Tony D’Angelo. There’s also a Tag Tournament Match and Gauntlet Eliminator, and this all kicks off at 8pm ET on the CW.

It’s Icon vs. Icon as the Toronto Skydome explodes with The Rock taking on “Hollywood” Hulk Hogan for the first time-ever (in singles competition; they were on opposite sides of a tag team handicap match on the go-home Raw).
