Evening Daily News Update: March 16, 2026

Good evening, doomers! New week, kicking off with 3:16 Day and your Evening Daily News Update. Tonight, Italy and Venezuela battle to see who has the honors of jobbing to the USA in the WBC on MLB TV (ok, really FOX, but I wanted to keep the string going). WWE Monday Night Raw is also an option, as is some NBA action (prime-time national coverage on NBC/Peacock includes Orlando visiting Atlanta and the Lakers at Houston).

Lots of content to check out today; Alex’s 5-Star Book Reviews finishes up on Jumbo Tsuruta, Rock Star Gary checks out WWE Rock Bottom (Spoilers: the show sucked), Jabroniville’s Joshi Spotlight gives us a look at AJW at Ota-World Gymnasium from October 2001, and Logan’s World Was Watching the November 20th, 1994 episode of the Action Zone.

WWE Monday Night Raw Preview:

Tonight on Monday Night Raw, A.J. Lee defends the W-Intercontinental Title against Bayley (the winner of last week’s gauntlet match), we’ve got Americano vs. Americano, Stephanie Vaquer battles Raquel Rodriguez, we run it back with Maxxine and Nattie, as well as appearances from Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar. All the action begins at 8pm ET on Netflix.
