Evening Daily News Update: February 25, 2026

It’s the Wacky Wednesday Edition of the Evening Daily News Update, brought to you by Kitten Mittens. You’ll be smitten’. That means AEW Dynamite (preview below) and some NBA action as we patiently wait for meaningful baseball. If you missed last night’s episode, check out Niz’s recap of WWE NXT (featuring a bunch of title matches), and good news everyone, Jabroniville has another edition of Dream Matches (featuring Randy Savage and Undertaker vs Ric Flair and Berzerker). Alex has a new 5-Star Match Review, and Logan’s World Was Watching the October 31st, 1994 episode of Raw.

AEW Dynamite Preview:
Dynamite has a pretty full lineup already announced, including the announcement of what stipulation will be tacked on to the match between Adam Page and MJF at Revolution. Jonny B. Good takes on El Clon, Brody King looks to build momentum at the expense of Mark Davis, there’s a Women’s Tag Title Match, as well as a 10-Man Tag. All this and MORE beginning at 8pm on TBS and HBO Max.

Fred Ottman Provides Health Update
Recently, it came out that Ottman (best known as the Shockmaster, Tugboat, and Typhoon across WCW and WWF) was hospitalized last month when his gallbladder exploded.

YouTube Spotlight: Story of the Undertaker; Chapter 7 – American Badass
Watch Chapter 7 of The Undertaker’s full career, featuring his transformation into The American Badass and rivalries with the likes of Kane, Kurt Angle and Rikishi. It’s also easily, without question, my least favorite era of Undertaker (with Invasion era through end of 2003 as the tippy-top worst).
