Evening Daily News Update: February 24, 2026

Good evening, doomers! It’s time for the Tuesday Evening Daily News Update, brought to you by Jersey Mike’s. It’s a sub above. We’re ticking down the countdown to baseball season, but we still have plenty of NBA action tonight, as well as an episode of WWE NXT (preview below). You can also try to find Revenge of the Nerds hidden away somewhere in memory of Robert Carradine.

Kat’s got the Raw Review, which featured a touching tribute to A.J. Styles and the announcement that he’s being inducted into WWE’s Hall of Fame, and Phred’s got All Japan’s New Years Eve. Better late than never! That reminds me, time to catch up on Lunacy. I fell down the rabbit hole of Summer ’87 WWF and need to find time for my other projects.

We’ve got a full lineup ahead of tonight’s show, featuring but not limited to Jacy Jayne defending the Women’s Title against Sol Ruca, Ethan Page defending the North American Title against Myles Born, DarkState defending the Tag Team Titles against Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes, as well as a Men’s Speed Title Match, and Women’s contender’s match, and more, beginning tonight at 8pm ET on the CW.
