Evening Daily News Update: February 11, 2026

Good evening, doomers, and welcome to another Evening Daily News Update! It’s Wednesday, and you know what that means. We’ve got AEW Dynamite to look forward to (preview below), and we’ve got some fantastic NBA Action. No, I’m not pimping the national coverage, I’m all-in with the Sacramento/Utah race to the bottom. Last night, the Kings announced that pretty much anyone with name value (defense is suspect, however) is out with a litany of ailments, and Utah made news for benching their best players for entire fourth quarters in efforts to lose games.

Niz has another fantastic review of WWE NXT that makes me want to break out in song, Jabroniville brings us another batch of Dream Matches (including a very underwhelming bout between Flair and Scott Steiner from Clash of the Champions XIV), and Logan’s World Was Watching the October 17th, 1994 episode of Monday Night Raw, featuring Doink vs. Double J! New Generation baby!

AEW Dynamite Preview for February 11th, 2026

We’ve got two title matches scheduled tonight, and at least one feels like there’s a legitimate chance for some gold to swap hands. Kris Statlander defends the Women’s Championship against Thekla in a Strap Match, Tommaso Ciampa defends the TNT Championship against The Proto-Star Kyle Fletcher, we’ve got a 3-Way #1 contenders match for the Tag Titles, and appearances from Kenny Omega and Swerve Strickland.

Featured on this day in 1999 and one week removed from the infamous “Fingerpoke of Doom,” nWo Hollywood and nWo Wolfpac are reunited with WCW World Champion Hollywood Hogan. Two titans collide, as The Giant faces Kevin Nash in the main event. Plus, WCW President Ric Flair makes big changes in the aftermath of the title change, Scott Steiner battles DDP and much more!
