Evening Daily News Update: February 9, 2026

Good evening, doomers! We have our Monday Evening Daily News Update for you as we look forward to Spring Training now that Super Bowl LX is behind us. Well, now that we have our Super Bowl hangover to deal with, we’ve got WWE Monday Night Raw (preview below) and some Olympic action to check out. For the NBA, Bucks @ Magic and Thunder @ Lakers is the Peacock Double-Feature. If you’re an OKC fan, good news, like 70 of their games get national coverage. I’m sure Phrederic is elated.

If you’re looking for some good ol’ content to read about, I’ve got a Fan-Cam from Dortmund on February 6th, 1994, Jabronville’s Joshi Spotlight has Part 2 of Odaiba W Explosion (from September 2001), and Logan’s World Was Watching the October 16th, 1994 episode of Wrestling Challenge. We’re getting close to the end of the road for that show, aren’t we?

WWE Monday Night Raw Preview for February 9th, 2026

Raw is taking place from the Rocket Arena in Cleveland, OH, featuring Jimmy and Jey Uso defending their Tag Team Championship against the Dream Team of Al Ollie and TBK’s Favorite Wrestlers. We can all hope Tozawa and Otis win the gold and reign forever so they can hold on to the happiness that comes with it. We’ve also got more Elimination Chamber qualifying matches (of the triple threat variety), and NATTIE (no longer Natalya! NAME CHANGE!) takes on Maxxine Dupri. All this and MORE beginning at 8pm on Netflix.

On This Day… WWF Superstars of Wrestling 02.09.1991
Enjoy an episode of Superstars as the WWF is on the Road to WrestleMania VII. Tugboat takes on Earthquake in the featured match, and we’ll also see the Nasty Boys, The Warlord, Jake Roberts, and Ted Dibiase in action.
