Evening Daily News Update: January 13, 2026

Good evening, doomers! The Wild Card Round is complete, and we have the following matchups to look forward to this weekend; Buffalo (12-5) @ Denver (14-3), Houston (12-5) @ New England (14-3), San Francisco (12-5) @ Seattle (14-3), and Los Angeles Rams (12-5) @ Chicago (11-6). In other NFL news, long-time coach of the Steelers, Mike Tomlin, officially stepped down earlier today after 19 seasons. I guess Tomlin vs Harbaugh was held under Ric Flair Retirement Rules for both men. Tonight, we’ve got WWE NXT on the CW, and for NBA action, the NBA on NBC double-feature brings us Spurs vs Thunder, followed by Trailblazers vs. Warriors.

WWE Raw was in Dusseldorf, Germany, which meant an early afternoon start time for us in the states. Check out Kat’s Review if you missed out and want to catch up or need ammo for your latest pissing contest.

YouTube Spotlight: 2003 Royal Rumble Match!
The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, John Cena, Rey Mysterio, Brock Lesnar and more duke it out in a Royal Rumble Match where the winner gets a world title match at WrestleMania XIX. The 2003 Rumble is the first to honor brand split rules, where 15 men from Raw and 15 men from Smackdown made up the field, so those geek filler spots REALLY stand out now that we aren’t so desperate to pad the list.
