Evening Daily News Update: December 19, 2025 – You’ll Poke Your Eye Out Edition

Good evening, doomers! Another Friday is here, which means a sigh of relief from the usual antics. Last night, Seattle outlasted The LA Rams in Overtime, and Mike Breen busted out a double-bang for Jalen Brunson as YOUR New York Knicks, short-handed and playing with minimal rest, overcame the odds and knocked out a conference rival with the might of ten grinches, plus two. Tonight, it’s WWE Smackdown, a.k.a. the show everybody ends up skipping in favor of reading Niz’s recap.

Speaking of recaps, Mike Reviews WCW Starrcade ’95(the one with WCW vs. NJPW guys) and Scott Herrin brings us the weekly dose of TNA Impact (featuring some more “THINK OF THE HEAT” booking from Delirious Dreamer). Logan’s World Was Watching the Sunday Night Slam to warm us up for SummerSlam ’94, featuring Typhoon’s last match, Crush’s last TV singles match for 2 years, and THE DIRT WORST LIVE CALL SEGMENT I’VE EVER SEEN.

AEW Partners with White Castle
It was announced today that, starting on December 27, an “AEW Bacon Brawl Combo” will be available at White Castle locations nationwide. The meal consists of two bacon cheeseburger sliders, a small fry, and a small soft drink. It can only be purchased through January 31, 2026… ONLY A SMALL?!?!

WWE Set for Stranger Things Crossover
A promotional crossover between Stranger Things and WWE is expected to take place soon. Although the report fails to mention the exact nature or type of promotion between the two brands. FANTASTIC REPORTING!
