Here’s what happened on Dynamite which encompassed the first two hours of a three hour block of programming: Dynamite

This episode of Collision aired LIVE on TBS on Wednesday October 15th, 2025 directly after Dynamite and is being broadcast from the Cable Dahmer Arena in Kansas City, MO. Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia vs Kyle O’Reilly and Orange Cassidy

Marina Shafir accompanies the Death Riders. Yuta begs off starting against Cassidy so Garcia joins the fray instead. Garcia works a wristlock but Cassidy manages to nip up and reverse it. Garcia hits an amateur takedown and gives Cassidy some lip. Cassidy imitates Garcia’s dance before maring him over and covering for two. Cassidy snaps off a suplex and tags in O’Reilly. O’Reilly drops some bombs and wants an armbar but Garcia makes the ropes. Cassidy tags in and he and O’Reilly take turns kicking Garcia before Cassidy’s cover getting one. O’Reilly tags in and lays in some kicks while Cassidy viciously chops away at Garcia. Yuta charges in and he gets hammered on as well. Garcia saves Yuta from more double teaming and the heels gain the advantage as we go to commercials.

Yuta is hammering on O’Reilly with elbows when the show returns. Garcia tags in and they both hammer away on O’Reilly. Yuta slaps on a cross-face but O’Reilly makes the ropes. Garcia tags in and he and Yuta cut off a quick O’Reilly flurry. O’Reilly manages to hit a double Dragon Screw before tagging in Cassidy. Cassidy hits Eat Defeat on Garcia and then runs both Yuta and Garcia into a top turnbuckle. Cassidy hits a spinning DDT on Yuta and a backdrop suplex on Garcia before covering and getting two.

Cassidy takes off the elbow pad and lines up Garcia but Yuta intercepts and smashes Cassidy with a Saito suplex. Jon Moxley wanders in as Cassidy hits a Stundog Millionaire on Yuta. O’Reilly and Garcia tussle and O’Reilly ends up holding Garcia in a guillotine. Cassidy hits the Orange Punch on Garcia and then wallops him with a tope suicida. Shafir jumps on the apron to distract the ref as Garcia is clearly tapping out in the background. PAC flies in from out of nowhere to wipe out Cassidy on the floor so O’Reilly responds by smashing PAC with a meteora. Claudio Castignoli of course shows up to waffle O’Reilly with a euro uppercut. Castagnoli runs O’Reilly into the ring and Garcia covers him for three.

It was going well until it wasn’t. The Death Riders cheating to win is nothing new and not that inspired, but the finish was mostly done to set up the post-match angle and so it is what it is. Cassidy and O’Reilly are mostly bullet-proof at this point and taking a loss here doesn’t hurt them in the slightest considering the numbers advantage. There was a decent heat sequence and some psychology until the crap at the end, so we’ll be lenient. 3*

Winners – Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia (Death Rider interference on O’Reilly)

Post-match sees the Death Riders attack O’Reilly and Cassidy before Roderick Strong and Tomohiro Ishii rush down to try to even things up. The numbers game is still on the Death Riders side as Moxley grabs a microphone. Darby Allin‘s music hits and he staggers in, still hurt from the confrontation with Moxley and PAC on Dynamite. Claudio mashes Allin with a flying euro uppercut. PAC wallops Allin with a pump kick. Garcia and Yuta come in to pound away but Allin keeps crawling towards Moxley. Shafir smashes Allin with a kick to the temple but Allin refuses to stay down. The babyfaces on the floor start tangling with the Death Riders and they all go to the back. Allin pulls out his AEW flag that he planted on the top of Mt Everest and tells Moxley it’s never to late to say “I quit”. Moxley hits Allin with a Death Rider implant DDT on top of the flag and leaves in a huff with Shafir in tow.

This was a hell of a deal to follow up the Dynamite prison interview angle. Allin was a mess by the end of it, though.

Megan Bayne and FTR make an entrance as Justin Roberts is confused about what’s happening next. Bayne chastises Willow Nightingale for trying to take another swing at her with Harley Cameron in tow. Bayne promises to smash Cameron and make them all bow down to her. Stokely also hates Willow Nightingale and Jet Speed. Stokely says that Mike Bailey looks “like Billy Ray Cyrus with an auto-immune disorder”. After Saturday Stokely says their focus is moving to the Tag Team titles. Dax Harwood mentions how many tag titles FTR have won and runs down their many accolades. Jet Speed, Harley Cameron and Willow Nightingale appear on the tron and decide to come out to chat with them. Cameron and Nightingale attack Bayne from behind as Jet Speed hit double dropkicks on FTR. There’s a Pier Six that includes Nightingale hitting a spinebuster on Harwood. Justin Roberts tells the crowd that the Bayne – Cameron match will start….RIGHT NOW.

Megan Bayne vs Harley Cameron

Bayne hits an immediate shotgun dropkick and bullies Cameron in a corner. Cameron’s short flurry is cut off by a Bayne lariat. Bayne hits a suplex and starts driving knees into Cameron’s gut. Bayne hits a running splash and an overhead toss suplex. Bayne slams Cameron twice but her third attempt ends when Cameron hits a big knee. Cameron bullies Bayne along the ropes and then runs her head into a top turnbuckle. Bayne cuts off the momentum with a big right before dragging Cameron over the top rope with a gnarly German suplex. We go to commercials.

Cameron slips a Bayne charge when the show returns. Cameron kicks Bayne in the back but Bayne fires up and crushes Cameron with a short lariat. Bayne ascends and a recovered Cameron gets her in the Tree of Woe before stomping away at Bayne’s mid-section. Cameron spikes Bayne with a DDT and gets two. Bayne recovers and hits Cameron with a Falcon Arrow that gets two. Bayne hoists Cameron on her shoulders and climbs to the second rope. Cameron slips out and powerbombs Bayne for a two count. Cameron hits running elbows on a dazed Bayne before Bayne fires out with a flying lariat. Bayne hits a front facebuster and gets two.

Cameron gets a quick roll-up for two but Bayne bridges out of it and hits Cameron with a running Liger Bomb. Bayne’s cover gets three.

Bayne is so physically impressive to watch at this point and her and Cameron put on a hell of a show here. Harley looked really good in this match despite the size difference. I enjoyed this one a bunch. 3.5*

Post-match sees Bayne bully Cameron some more while barking at the camera.

Eddie Kingston and Hook are moving on from LFI and will be at Tailgate on Saturday. They want some HOT TAG ACTION. We go to commercials.

Alicia Atout is backstage with Anthony Bowens and Max Caster. Bowens says he’s never tagging with Caster again and Caster agrees that they should never team again because Bowens is ridiculous with all his picture frames. Bowens and Caster beg Tony Khan to never put them together. Atout calls them the Acclaimed and Caster calls her a jerk.

The Don Callis Family (Rocky Romero, Lance Archer and TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher) vs Mark Briscoe and Brodido (Brody King and Bandido)

Don Callis joins the announce team and quotes the Wu-Tang Clan’s immortal “Wu-Tang Ain’t Nuthin’ to F*** With” for some reason. Briscoe starts with Romero and Briscoe gains the advantage with a flying forearm and some right hands. Archer gets a tag and has a short flurry but Briscoe cuts that off with a right hand from the apron. Archer begs off so Fletcher comes in and squares off with Briscoe.

They slug it out and Fletcher gains the advantage in a neutral corner. Briscoe fires out with some chops and a headbutt. Briscoe snap-mares Fletcher to the canvas before crushing him with a kick. King tags in and he and Bandido and Briscoe hit Fletcher with splashes while Callis complains about Rick Knox. Get in line, Don. King slams Fletcher and then slams Briscoe on to Fletcher. King slams Bandido onto Fletcher and then Briscoe and Bandido do the macarena as we go to commercials.

Fletcher is working over Briscoe when the show returns. Fletcher wipes out Bandido and then tries it with King to no avail. Briscoe hits some forearms and then he and Fletcher cancel each other with simultaneous running lariats. Archer and King get tags and they slug it out mid-ring. King hits some strikes and then plants Archer with a Death Valley Driver. King’s cover gets two. Bandido tags in and the champs hit some double-team offense that leaves Archer on one knee. Archer fires up and hits a splash on King and a front suplex on Bandido.

Fletcher tags in and he wipes out Briscoe and King before turning to smash Bandido with a kick. Romero tags in and hits a huge double stomp on Bandido that gets two. Everyone flies in and gets wiped out before Bandido puts a stop to Fletcher with a superkick. Bandido almost botches a torneo but manages to hit Fletcher with it eventually. Bandido hits a charging Romero with a press slam. King hits Romero with a senton and Briscoe drops the Froggy Bow. Fletcher breaks up Bandido’s cover at two.

Fletcher and Briscoe slug it out mid-ring before Fletcher dumps Briscoe to the apron for a superkick. King smashes Fletcher to the floor with a lariat and a recovered Briscoe hits Fletcher with a rolling neckbreaker. Bandido hits a tornado DDT on Archer. King and Bandido hit a double-team piledriver on Romero and Bandido’s cover gets three.

I, for one, am SHOCKED that Rocky Romero ate another trios pin. SHOCKED I SAY. Anyway, this got very good by the end and it’s nice for Khan to actually give the babyface team a win in a main event without 78 heels beating their ass in response. Send’em home happy once in a while, TK! Of course, it’s not a lot of heels, it’s just Okada ruining things. Regardless, this was a fun main event and everyone worked hard. 3.5*

Winners – Mark Briscoe and Brodido (King piledriver on Romero)

Post-match sees Briscoe and Fletcher still fighting in the aisle. EL CLON emerges and this is cover for Kazuchika Okada coming in the ring to hit a huge Rainmaker on Bandido after wiping out King. Okada poses with the tag belts and we’re out.

Really good shortened version of Collision following up the Dynamite live two hours. For me, I like having Excalibur and Danielson on commentary because they provide all the move names AND a lot of context around the storylines. I don’t mind Nigel and Schiavone on Saturday nights but Tony can…wander at times. Anyway, if you stuck around for the third hour you got your money’s worth. Thumbs way up from me tonight.
