Good morning, everyone!

It’s time for your middle-of-the-week Morning Daily News Update! First, let’s take a look at what’s new on the blog from yesterday! We’ve got Garth Holmberg’s latest review of ROH Honor Club, and we’ve got Niz’s review of the most recent WWE NXT.

AEW star Adam Copeland books new movie role

Adam Copleand is set to appear in a new action movie alongside leading man Jason Statham. The movie in question is titled “The Beekeeper 2” and is a sequel to the 2024 film “The Beekeeper”, a film which follows a retired government assassin, played by Statham, who is out for revenge after his landlady gets her life savings and $2 million from a charity she runs are stolen by a phishing scam. It is currently unknown what role Copleand will play in the sequel.

Triple H & Stephanie McMahon Meet With President Donald Trump At The White House

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon met with President Donald Trump yesterday as Trump signed some new executive orders, one of which was spearheaded by Stephanie and relates to the use of AI to help improve treatments for childhood cancers. Triple H and Stephanie also met with Robert F. Kennedy Jr. earlier this year, as they serve as part of the council for Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition, and Kennedy Jr. is the Secretary for the US Department of Health and Human Services.

WWE Has A New Strategy For Calling Up NXT Stars

A report has surfaced stating that WWE has changed its processes on how it calls up stars from NXT to the main roster, as previously, the method was to pull them entirely from NXT shows and have them compete solely on main roster brands. The new strategy apparently allows for the stars to still continue their storylines on NXT whilst also being able to compete on main roster shows, allowing for a more flexible booking approach and a smoother transition for the newly called-up stars.

WWE LFG’s BJ Ray Reveals He Competed With Torn Shoulder

WWE LFG star BJ Ray revealed that he has been dealing with a torn rotator cuff and labrum since his return on WWE LFG season one. Ray recently underwent surgery to repair his shoulder injuries and said that his surgeon told him that the only thing holding his shoulder together was the muscle fibres in his shoulder. Despite competing with such a serious injury, he says he has no regrets, and his shoulder is now completely repaired.
