NXT Review – 08.26.25

The week in WWE/NXT thus far reads as such: Heatwave | LFG | Raw

NXT comes to us from the beautiful Performance Center in Orlando, FL. The presenters of tonight’s show are mostly the usual suspects – Vic Joseph and Booker T on match calls, Mike Rome on ring introductions, and Sarah Schreiber on backstage interviews and news updates. Corey Graves is in Europe for the WWE events happening there this week.

Then, Now, Forever….TOGETHER

We open with a Heatwave highlights package. It was quite a show. Here’s Ricky Saints to start things off in the arena. Saints puts over Je’von Evans performance at Heatwave but says that Oba Femi proved why he’s the NXT champion. It’s been six months since Saints arrival and he’s been North American champion and taken down monsters. The one thing he wants is in Oba Femi’s possession. Saints says he’s calling his shot and tells Femi to come out.

Here’s Josh Briggs to a lot of boos to tell Saints that while the hype about him is real but Briggs is done with outsiders like Inamura and Saints getting shots they don’t deserve. Briggs says they couldn’t touch him with a five year headstart. Saints tells Briggs he’s lost his mind if he thinks Saints is going to stand in the back of the line. Saints compares Briggs to Sid from Toy Story (I’ll never now not see that, thanks Ricky.) and says he is the line. Saints says Briggs thinks he’s right but Saints KNOWS he’s right.

Before any fisticuffs break out here’s NXT GM Ava to say she has an announcement. No one has heard from Je’von Evans after his loss at Heatwave so she’s making Briggs vs Saints for the #1 Contendership TONIGHT.

Post-Heatwave Blake Monroe had a chat with Ava where she asked for an NXT Women’s championship match, but Kelani Jordan interrupts to tell Monroe she can’t ask for anything because it took Jordan two years to get an opportunity for an opportunity. Monroe mocks Jordan for losing so Ava makes Jordan vs Monroe for this show and Jordan says she’s going to make an example out of Monroe.

Blake Monroe makes her entrance as we go to commercials.

Kelani Jordan vs Blake Monroe

Jordan hits a dropkick at the bell and after running the ropes she rolls up Monroe for one before Monroe reverses and gets one. They exchange more roll-ups and once on their feet Monroe smashes Jordan with a headbutt. Jordan recovers with a superkick. Jordan wants a back handspring but Monroe catches her and pops Jordan down with a side Russian leg sweep. Monroe goes to ground and pound and as Jordan starts to rise Monroe pounds her with a shotgun dropkick. Monroe covers for two.

Monroe starts to work Jordan’s shoulder in the corner until the ref backs her off. Jordan’s kick attempt is caught and then Monroe blasts Jordan down with a right. (Joseph makes fun of Booker messing up Blake Monroe’s name in Houston and now thinking she’s the ‘numba one stunna’. Joseph poking at Book never fails to make me laugh.) Monroe slaps on her rollover armbar but Jordan slips it and rolls Monroe over for two.

Monroe continues to work the shoulder but Jordan breaks out and hits a standing leg lariat and both are down. Jordan recovers first and starts firing off rights and elbows. Jordan hits a sling blade and a sort of jumping back splash before nipping up to a pop. Jordan hits a sit-out DDT but Monroe rolls all the way to the floor before Jordan can cover. Jordan kicks Monroe from the apron and here’s Jordynne Grace walking directly at Monroe. Monroe tries the same escape she did last time but the door is padlocked. Grace chases Monroe back to the ring.

Jordan hoists a confused Monroe up for a backdrop driver before ascending. Jordan hits a split-legged moonsault and covers Monroe for three.

It’s interesting that Monroe’s first pinfall loss comes on a random Tuesday night, but since this thing with Grace is clearly continuing, I guess that’s what the booking called for. Jordan hit all of her normal stuff but did sell the arm throughout, so kudos there. Still though, this was still mostly an angle disguised around a match. 2.25*

Winner – Kelani Jordan (split-legged moonsault)

THE NXT FOCUS PRESENTED BY PROGRESSIVE details the Lexis King-Myles Borne feud. As Borne makes his entrance Sarah Schreiber asks him about his eyesight after last week‘s mace attack. Borne says it’s still a bit blurry so he asks the crowd to help him by letting him know when he’s close to King.

Blindfold Match: Lexis King vs Myles Borne

They stumble around and then bump into each other and each throws a wild punch that misses entirely. They back into each other and a lock-up is cheered wildly by the crowd. King bullies Borne to a corner but after they break Borne sneaks away while King berates the camera that he thinks is Borne. Borne manages a drop kick on King and as King stumbles around he tumbles over Borne who covers for two.

Borne does an irish whip and misses King entirely, but King keeps going and flies through the ring ropes straight to the floor. (This match is terrible but this spot was funny as hell.) A dazed King stumbles around outside before chopping a ring post he thinks might be Borne. King trips over the ring steps and Borne heads out to run King into the barrier. Borne whips King back in the ring so King tries a dropkick that misses entirely.

King realizes where Borne is and gets in a couple of chops and a bodyslam. Borne rolls away as King misses an elbow drop. Borne misses a knee drop before King tries a superkick on the referee. (The crowd seems to be enjoying this, I however, am not.) King stumbles over Borne and they finally find each other and start throwing forearms. Borne grabs King’s wrist and wallops him with a couple of clotheslines. King regains control and bullies Borne to a corner. King accidently pokes the ref in the eye so King immediately removes his hood.

King hits a low blow on Borne, pulls his hood back down, hits the Coronation and gets three.

Sure, why not. I have no idea how much they could actually see in those black bag hoods but this was about what you’d expect for a match of this type. If this is your jam, I’m sorry. The crowd was laughing at a lot of this so I’m not sure it was what they were hoping for, but reactions are reactions, I guess. 1*

Winner – Lexis King (Coronation)

Here’s Wren Sinclair with Charles Dempsey and Sinclair doesn’t have a partner for tonight’s match yet. Dempsey says he has all the confidence in the world in Sinclair and he’s found her a partner. It’s Kendal Grey and she’s happy to join Sinclair but not happy that Dempsey is still big-timing her by calling himself a “true pro”. The ladies leave and Grey gives Dempsey a chop before going that he sells like it was Flair in ’89.

Dempsey seconds Sinclair and Grey. The Culling ladies are seconded by Shawn Spears and Niko Vance. It’s Grey and Dame to start.

Grey goes behind so Dame shrugs her off. Grey slips a charge and slides under the bottom rope through Dame’s legs. Grey runs the ropes and grabs Dame’s leg while Sinclair charges in to wallop Dame with a chop. Grey and Sinclair run Dame over before Sinclair covers for one. Dame blasts Sinclair with a right and tags in Paxley. Sinclair holds the ropes off an irish whip and blasts a charging Paxley with a back kick. Sinclair hits a shoulder tackle and then a flying bulldog on a prone Paxley. Sinclair covers for two.

Paxley fights her way out of a front facelock and tags in Dame. Dame grabs Sinclair by the hair as she kicks at Dame. Paxley gets a blind tag as Dame runs Sinclair off the ropes to meet a Paxley kick in the back. Paxley holds Sinclair across the ropes as Dame hits a shotgun dropkick. Paxley comes in and starts kicking a prone Sinclair along the ropes. Paxley clubbers Sinclair into a seated position before going behind and clamping on a mid-body leg scissors. Sinclair pushes Paxley back and gets a two count.

Grey finally gets the tag and runs Paxley over with a sledge and a clothesline. Grey hits an overhead snapmare on Paxley and bellows at Dame. Grey trips Paxley up and from the apron she hits a springboard double-stomp. Dame charges in and Grey catches her with a facebuster. Paxley yanks Grey into a German that sends her into a Sinclair tag. Sinclair pulls Paxley into a double underhook suplex but Paxley recovers to smash Sinclair’s jaw off her knee. Dame tags herself in during the middle of a Paxley springboard, so Paxley stops as Dame yanks up Sinclair. Sinclair crucifixes Dame and gets two as Paxley breaks it up.

Grey charges in and slaps an armbar on Paxley but it’s Dame and Sinclair who are legal. Dame hits a big pump kick on Sinclair followed by a sit-out powerbomb. Dame covers for three.

Kendal Grey is getting there, you can see it. She needs reps which she’s hopefully getting in Evolve but this type of exposure is good for her. Sinclair needs to step it up a bit in the ring but she was fine tonight. The heel ladies worked well together even if they did start lightly sowing a dissension story with Dame tagging herself in during the execution of a Paxley move. Fine for what it was. 2.5*

Winners – Izzi Dame and Tatum Paxley (Dame sit-out powerbomb to Sinclair)

Here’s TNA Men’s World Champion Trick Williams to go over the NXT fall schedule. Williams says he’s going to headline Homecoming, No Mercy and Halloween Havoc because he’s money.

Number One Contenders Match: Ricky Saints vs Josh Briggs

Briggs charges at the bell but Saints slips away and chops Briggs. Saints clubbers away in a corner but Briggs has hade enough and he puts Saints in the corner. Briggs throws rights and then clobbers Saints with an elbow. Briggs chases Saints to a corner and elbows him. Saints fires out of the corner and hits a short kick that barely grazes Briggs. Saints wants a tornado DDT but Briggs shoves him off. Briggs hits a big sidewalk slam and covers Saints for two.

Briggs slaps on a side headlock but Saints is able to break it up by dropping to his knees. Briggs misses an elbow drop and Saints hits a few kicks. Briggs pops Saints in the mouth in response. Saints regains the advantage and grabs a wrist-lock before ascending. Saints walks the ropes and comes off with a big dropping right hand that staggers Briggs. Saints kicks Briggs but Briggs no-sells it and grabs Saints by the throat. Briggs pushes Saints to the floor but Saints grabs Briggs by the legs and snatches him out to the floor.

Briggs tries to whip Saints into the ring steps but he gracefully charges over them and lands next to the barrier. Briggs charges so Saints dropkicks the steps into Briggs legs. Saints flies off the steps but Briggs catches him in mid-air. Saints slips off Briggs shoulder and runs Briggs into a ring post as both go down. We go to picture-in-picture commercials.

During PIP Briggs runs Saints back-first into the apron. Briggs talks some smack and runs Saints back in to the ring. Saints fires up with some elbows, chops and punches. Saints goes to the second rope but Briggs pushes him off. Saints trips a charging Briggs and drops a big elbow to the back of Briggs head. Saints covers for two. Briggs tries for a comeback but Saints cuts it off by running Briggs head into a top turnbuckle. Briggs resists an irish whip and reverses Saints to a corner before following with an elbow. Briggs hits a running big boot but doesn’t cover for an age. When he finally does he gets two. Briggs hits a short shotgun dropkick to Saints back and he again covers for two. Briggs forearms Saints down and then knees him in the ear. (Briggs wrestles so arrogantly for a guy who’s barely won anything. It’s actually annoying so maybe what he’s doing is working.) Briggs irish whips Saints and pummels him with an elbow. Briggs again wastes an inordinate amount of time.

Back to full screen Saints fires up with some right hands. They run the ropes and Briggs wins the exchange with a big cross-body before covering Saints for two. Briggs runs Saints hard into a corner but he again waits to cover and only gets two. Briggs grabs Saints by the ear and runs him the length of the ring slamming Saints head into a turnbuckle. Briggs of course doesn’t cover opting instead to run the ropes again. This time Briggs’s cross body attempt is missed and Saints starts clubbering away. Briggs reverses an irish whip but Saints fires out of the corner with a lariat. Saints hits a big flying forearm and a Michinoku Driver. Saints covers for two.

Saints flies off the ropes and crushes Briggs with a shotgun dropkick. Saints ascends but Briggs recovers with a right hand. Saints fights out of a superplex attempt and pushes Briggs down but Briggs responds with a kick that staggers Saints to the apron. Briggs yanks Saints in for a backbreaker over his knee. Briggs wallops Saints with a running high boot and covers for two.

Saints flips out of a choke-slam attempt and blasts Briggs with an enziguri. Saints hits a spear and ascends. Saints elbow drop misses and Briggs gathers Saints up for a choke-slam. Briggs is shocked when Saints kicks out at two. Briggs pulls his elbow pad off but his attempted elbow misses. Saints hits a couple of rights but Briggs responds with an elbow. Saints dodges Briggs and snaps him into a blockbuster. Saints hits a tornado DDT and covers Briggs for three. Ricky Saints will face Oba Femi for the title at No Mercy.

I am annoyed that Josh Briggs wrestles the way he wrestles. He seemed clearly annoyed at having to sell anything for Saints and played the arrogant dickhead heel role almost too over the top. Like he wrestled this match like he was just out there to clobber a jobber and oh by the way, you were booked to lose, dude. Saints is Saints, his offense looks like it wouldn’t break an egg half the time but we are where we are with this, he was probably due a shot before he goes to the main roster. So we’ll see what Shawn has in mind because the size differential is going to be tremendous. 3*

Winner – Ricky Saints (tornado DDT)

Here’s NXT Women’s North American and WWE Women’s SPEED champion Sol Ruca, Zaria and Lola Vice putting on some Maybelline prior to their main event. Jaida Parker interrupts to be nice to Vice and say she’s proud of her for winning the three way at Heatwave. Here’s Lash Legend to start trash talking and Parker calls her out for losing to Nia Jax. Chase U are in the background and Kale Dixon says “Jaida Parker don’t play like that” as Parker walks away while Legend fumes. Parker sees Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo and Ariana Grace canoodling and says she’s going to be sick.

Ricky Saints is still in the ring for some reason. Here’s NXT Men’s Champion Oba Femi to march to the ring as we go to commercials.

Back live with Saints saying that he’s heard that Femi’s reign is starting to wear on him. Saints says Femi can’t be The Ruler forever and he’s the one that’s going to end the reign on September 27. Femi says when he told Saints he saw nothing in him he lied. What Femi does see is fear and he’s going to show Saints that he’s not special because when Saints stands across from Femi he becomes ordinary. Femi says he’s going to make the Absolute absolutely mediocre. Here’s Darkstate to visit the scene. Dion Lennox says if anyone thought they were stopping after winning the tag titles doesn’t understand what they’re about. Osiris Griffin says Saints and Femi can leave or catch a beating. Saints says he’ll go and Darkstate charge in en masse.

The numbers game works for a few seconds but here’s Hank & Tank to even the odds. A Pier Six breaks out and it ends with the faces standing tall as I’m sensing an eight-man in our future.

With the SPEED titles coming to NXT the overall concept is explained in a video package. Ava announces a tournament with Candace LeRae, Lainey Reid, Faby Apache (!), and Xia Brookside. The winner of the tournament faces Sol Ruca for the Women’s SPEED title at No Mercy.

Chelsea Green, The Secret Hervice and NXT Men’s North American Champion Ethan Page make an entrance prior to Fyre’s match with Tyra Mae Steele. We go to commercials.

Tyra Mae Steele vs Alba Fyre

Steele is seconded by Tavion Heights. Fire tries to roll up Steele but she holds the ropes and stomps Fyre in the chest. Steele yanks Fyre into a fall-away slam before griping with the folks outside. Steele trips up Fyre and grabs her legs to roll her around the ring (I don’t get this move but she seems to think it looks cool and no one told her not to do it so here we are.) Steele flips Fyre into a Bow and Arrow before tossing her off. Steele eats a Fyre back elbow before a Fyre superkick sends Steele to the floor. Page encourages Green to attack Steele as Fyre gripes with the ref. Steele ducks a clothesline and then as she’s barking at Green Fyre comes flying out with a tope suicida. Fyre whips Steele in and covers for one.

Fyre stands on Steele’s hair before stomping away. Fyre whips Steele to a corner and when she tumbles out Fyre drives a knee into Steele’s back. Fyre drops a knee on Steele’s face but her second attempt misses when Steele slips away. Steele fires up with right hands but Fyre breaks it up with a knee lift. Fyre whips Steele to the corner but when she charges she runs into Steele’s….backside. Steele ascends but her leap misses. Fyre knees Steele in the jaw and then hits an implant DDT. Steele kicks out at two.

Fyre tries for the Gory Special but Steele slips out of it. Fyre slaps Steele down and tries for it again, but Steele drops to a knee. Steele goes behind and yanks Fyre into a swank German before tying up Fyre in an ankle lock. Page tries to assist Fyre making the ropes so Steele drops the hold and stomps on Page’s hand. Fyre’s superkick results in a Steele roll-up and the ref counts three.

Good for TMS to get a win here, but couldn’t she have gotten more from tossing around Niven? I will defend Alba Fyre through the good times and bad and man, I guess she’s the main jobber for the Hervice and I don’t like it. I don’t mind the heels cheating a bit here because it set up the post-match angle nicely. The brevity hurts the rating here. 2.25*

Winner – Tyra Mae Steele (roll-up)

Post-match sees Green charge in to blast Steele from behind. Green dumps Steele to the floor as Heights charges in to ask Green what her problem is. Green goes to slap Heights but he catches it. Page charges in and blasts Heights from behind with a belt shot. Page goes to work with right hands before snatching Heights into Twisted Grin. Fyre and Niven are forcing Steele to watch as Page covers Heights with a Canadian flag. (Should have broken out the spray paint, Ethan.) Page and Green hold their hands over their hearts and stand over Heights.

Here’s Hank & Tank charging into Ava’s office to ask for their rematch against Darkstate. Ava says Darkstate already asked for that to happen and the guys seem very happy and go to leave. Ava says wait because Darkstate actually wants an eight man next week before talking about a title rematch. H&T are fine with that and they leave.

Joseph tosses it to highlights from Unreal on Netflix. Cody waving to a family of people is kind of cool.

Sarah Schreiber is with Fatal Influence prior to the main event. Jacy Jayne tells Schreiber that Ash By Elegance stole the Knockouts title at Heatwave but they can’t take away the fact that she made history by being champ of TNA and NXT at the same time. Jazmyn Nyx says she wants the SPEED title and will bring it to the group but Jayne says if anyone’s getting a shot at the SPEED title it’s going to be Fallon Henley. Nyx and Jayne start griping and Nyx asks Schreiber what’s going on as Henley and Jayne bail.

Joseph runs down next week’s card before Sol Ruca, Zaria and Lola Vice make their entrance. Fatal make their entrance and we go to commercials.

Fatal Influence vs Sol Ruca, Zaria, and Lola Vice

It’s Ruca and Henley to start as there’s about 20 minutes of run-time left in this show (Buckle up, kids.). Ruca hits an armdrag and then flies off the ropes to hit a sunset flip on Henley. Henley kicks out at one and hits a running leg-scissors on Ruca that turns into a cover that gets two. Henley slugs Ruca but her sloppy tornado DDT attempt is caught by Ruca who goes behind with a waistlock. Ruca snaps Henley down and hits a rolling headbutt and pump kick sending Henley to a corner. Ruca misses a charge but she reverses Henley’s monkey flip attempt and mounts Henley on the top turnbuckle. Henley grabs Ruca’s head and plants her with an implant suplex. Henley drags Ruca to the Fatal corner and Nyx tags in.

Nyx blasts Ruca with a kick to the stomach as Henley holds her. They snap Ruca to the mat by her hair and as Ruca rises Nyx blasts her with a one-legged dropkick. Nyx nips up and taunts Vice but she walks right into Ruca who swings Nyx around before dropping her to the mat. Ruca taunts Jayne before blasting Nyx with a knee. Zaria tags in and she and Ruca dump Nyx over before hitting the Outrunner elbow drop. Zaria covers for one.

Zaria misses a charge but she’s able to boot Nyx when she tries to respond. Zaria puts Nyx in a rear chinlock while standing on the second rope and yanking Nyx off her feet. Nyx dangles until the ref’s count breaks it up at four. Zaria waffles Nyx with a second rope lariat and covers for two. Nyx slips out of a suplex attempt and SWEEPS THE LEG before hitting a springboard double kick that staggers Zaria. Nyx covers for two.

Zaria stops a running knee attempt and goozles Nyx. Nyx rolls through and rolls up Zaria for two. Vice tags in and Zaria slams her onto a prone Nyx. Vice covers for two. Vice kicks Nyx to the Fatal corner and Jayne tags in. Jayne eyes up Vice and puts the badmouth on her before they lock up. Jayne bullies Vice to the ropes but Vice slips out as Jayne is frustrated. Jayne’s charge is turned into a Vice armbar attempt as Jayne locks her hands to prevent it. Jayne rolls Vice over and gets two. Vice hits some punches and then finds a slingshot arm drag but Jayne pops up and waffles Vice with a short-arm lariat. Jayne covers for one.

Jayne whips Vice to the Fatal corner and tags in Henley. Henley wipes out a prone Vice with a forearm and covers for one. Vice lifts some knees and Ruca tags in. Ruca whips Henley into a Vice back kick before she throws an elbow onto Henley’s shoulders. They hit simultaneous chops on Henley and Ruca covers for two. Henley misses a charge and goes shoulder-first into the post. Ruca stands on top of Henley’s prone body and pretends to surf. (Booker loves that spot.) Ruca yanks Henley over the second rope and boots her in the chest. The crowd has started the wave as the ref admonishes Nyx. While he’s distracted Jayne pulls the ropes down so Ruca tumbles to the floor as she’s running the ropes. Jayne wipes out Ruca with a huge kick from the apron. Lainey Reid is watching from the NXT Roost as Fatal pose over a fallen Ruca. We go to picture-in-picture commercials.

During PIP Jayne berates Booker and Joseph while Henley slams Ruca face-first into the apron. Henley runs Ruca back into the ring and tags in Jayne. Jayne pulls Ruca into a snap suplex and covers for two. Jayne kicks Ruca in the back and follows with a running senton before covering for two. Jayne taunts Vice before running Ruca to the Fatal corner and tagging in Nyx. Jayne holds her boot under Ruca’s jaw while Nyx kicks Ruca in the ribs. Nyx drapes Ruca over the second rope and puts a knee in her back. Nyx hits a running kick and covers for two. Nyx tries four more covers with little success. Henley tags in and blasts Ruca with knee lifts but Ruca gets a quick reversal and hits a backslide on Henley for one. Henley tries a kick and misses and Ruca rolls her up for one. Henley yanks Ruca down by the hair and then she taunts Vice as well. (Does no one want to taunt Zaria? SHE’S RIGHT THERE!) Nyx tags in and hits Ruca with a bridging suplex as the ref counts two. Nyx repeats the spot and gets another two. Nyx flips over and puts Ruca in a bridging reverse headlock thing.

Back to full screen with Ruca trying to fight her way out of the Fatal corner as she drops Nyx with a double knee. Henley tags a staggering Nyx and blasts Zaria from the apron. Ruca slips in a kick on Henley and slowly crawls to try to make a tag. Jayne flies around to pull Vice from the apron and run her very hard into the steps. Henley boots Ruca and then clubbers her down. Nyx tags in and her and Henley stop Ruca’s brief flare-up with knees. They hit a double facebuster on Ruca and as they go for a double rolling blockbuster Jayne tags in. Jayne wallops Ruca with a big kick and covers for two.

Jayne barks at Zaria who was coming in to break it up before running Ruca back to the Fatal corner and putting the boots to her. (This match has reached the “too long” stage right about now. This extended heat sequence on Ruca is getting tiresome as hell.) Henley taunts Zaria (THANK YOU FALLON, SHEESH) and blasts Ruca with a splash. Jayne tags in but her and Henley’s flip attempt sees Ruca land on her feet and stagger back to FINALLY tag in Zaria. Zaria runs wild and drops Henley with a headbutt. Zaria whips Henley into Jayne who’s posed in a corner before following with a running splash on both. Jayne ducks a clothesline and superkicks Zaria. Henley and Jayne try to suplex Zaria but she calmly reverses and suplexes them both.

Nyx tags in and tries a springboard back something but Zaria catches her and hits a backdrop suplex. Ruca tags in and she and Zaria hit their handstand drop on Nyx as Ruca covers for two. Henley breaks that up so Zaria yanks her into a German. Jayne charges over and wipes out Zaria with a reverse neckbreaker. Ruca dodges a Jayne pump kick attempt and they hit simultaneous clotheslines on each other. Everyone is down as we reset. Joseph starts hyping up THIS DIVISION as Ruca crawls over to tag in a recovered Vice. Vice wipes out everyone and hits her low pump kicks on both Jayne and Nyx. Vice hits repeated hip attacks as Booker loses his mind. Henley distracts Vice who turns into a Nyx Pele kick. Jayne tags in.

Henley immediately tags in and her and Jayne hit simultaneous knees on a prone Vice. Henley covers for two as Ruca breaks it up with a kick to Henley’s head. A livid Jayne dumps Ruca to the floor but the ref points out that she’s not legal and sends Jayne out. Ruca yanks Jayne out and holds her as Zaria comes flying in with a spear. At least five minutes too long with a WAY too long mid-match heat sequence on Ruca. I know what they were going for here and it worked to a certain extent because Vice’s backfist looks like a match-ender no matter who the opponent is. Ruca took an asskicking and Zaria played hoss heater. It was fine from their side. Fallon Henley should be better than she is at this point, I’m just saying it. Very sloppy from her in the early going. Nyx needs reps, as always. Jayne is just at the top of her game right now and I’m enjoying it. I have to give this match of the night but it was still just too long for a bigger number. Keep this at 12-14 minutes and you’d have done better. 3.5*

Kind of a mixed bag tonight. The first hour was not very good but things picked up a bit in the second hour. Coming off a middling big signature event like Heatwave, I was hoping for more than this. Nothing was actively bad save for the lame blindfold match, but nothing really stood out too much either. Thumbs in the middle tonight. Tell me your thoughts in comments though, because I’m happy to hear differing opinions.
