Morning, everyone!

It’s Friday again, the weekend is here! And I’m here again with more Morning Daily News! I don’t know about the rest of you, but here in the UK, the sun seems to have finally calmed itself down; if it kept it up for much longer, I would have been able to cook my Sunday roast by just leaving it outside for ten minutes. We’ve got a couple of new blog posts to sink our teeth into this morning as well! We’ve got Garth Holmberg’s latest ROH TV review, and we also have Scott Herrin’s newest TNA Impact review.

Jade Cargill Responds To Criticism of Being Pushed Too Soon

Jade Cargill has spoken about the criticism she’s been on the receiving end of in regards to her being pushed too hard and too fast due to the fact that she was given an AEW title just a few months after making her pro wrestling debut, and that she was placed in a prominent position upon signing with WWE in 2023 and made her debut on the main roster without spending time in NXT. Cargill said that the reason she’s been pushed so fast is that higher-ups know that she will be a future star.

Major Rumour Making The Rounds About TNA Being For Sale And The Potential Buyer

There have been rumours swirling about the possibility of TNA being up for sale, which started after it was reported that TNA is potentially looking at moving Impact to Wednesday nights to go head-to-head with AEW Dynamite as part of a media rights discussion. And now the rumour is that TNA could be sold, and the interested buyer is former UFC owner Lorenzo Fertitta, who was the owner of UFC before it was sold to TKO Group Holdings in 2023.

2 Title Matches Added To ROH Death Before Dishonor Card

2 title matches have been added to the ROH Death Before Dishonor card, which is taking place on August 29. The first match added to the card on last night’s episode of ROH TV is Athena defending her Women’s World Title against Mina Shirakawa in Shirakawa’s first match back following an injury she suffered at All In. The other match will see Lee Moriarty putting his ROH Pure Title on the line against Xelhua.

Former TNA X-Division & Tag Team Champion Signs AEW Contract

Former TNA X-Division Champion Ace Austin has signed a contract with AEW after he made a surprise debut at the Collision tapings on Thursday. Tony Khan confirmed the signing by posting on social media during the tapings for Collision yesterday. Austin left TNA in May after spending close to seven years with the promotion, where he held the Tag Team Title and X-Division Title both three times.
