Roman Reigns Cast As Akuma In New ‘Street Fighter’ Movie
Roman Reigns has landed himself a huge role in the upcoming live-action Street Fighter film, taking on the part of the iconic villain Akuma. Reigns will be taking a hiatus from WWE whilst filming is underway, and he is joined by a star-studded line-up with Andrew Koji, Jason Momoa, Noah Centineo, Callina Liang, and Orville Peck all playing parts in the movie.
Dominik Mysterio Has Rib Injury, Not Expected To Be Out Long
In what seems to be a never-ending stream of WWE injury news, Dominik Mysterio is reportedly out with a minor rib injury. Dave Meltzer reported that Mysterio has picked up an injury that will see him miss Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia, but the injury is not severe enough that he will be out for an extended period of time.
MJF Shows Up In MLW To Attack Mistico
MJF made a surprise appearance at MLW’s Summer of the Beasts event last night to make a sneak attack on Mistico, whom he has been feuding with since losing to him at Dynamite Grand Slam on June 18 by DQ.
Backstage Update On WWE SmackDown’s Return To A Two-Hour Format
An update has been provided on the end of the 3-hour era of SmackDown, with a new report stating that the show will return to a 2-hour format on the USA Network beginning on the July 4 episode. This means the final 3-hour broadcast will take place tonight from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
