What’s more impressive

For b…I'm not including guys like Austin, Cena or Angle, who could do both heel or face runs but are primarily better in one role. I am talking more about guys who are 50-50ish. Feel free to debate who that could be.
I was thinking about comments that Rey Mysterio recently made on how it would be hard for him to have a heel run because it doesn't jive with his personality. It got me thinking….in your opinion, what is more impressive:
a) Wrestler who is so good as a heel or face that it's impossible to buy them in the opposite role? i.e. Rey, Ricky Steamboat, Rick Rude, Ted Dibiase.
b) Wrestler who is equally as good as face or heel . i.e. Jericho, Big Show, Hogan. HBK, Macho Man

Ted Dibiase was a top level babyface for YEARS before he ever became the face of corporate greed and corruption. He could pulled it off again in an instant had the need arose. But Cena’s swing and a miss heel run is really showing that it’s more impressive to be ambidextrous with your alignment, especially if you can be a top star either way.
