It’s Tuesday, and you know that means it’s time for NXT, where we seem to be entering a rebuild with a handful of call-ups weakening the women’s roster, and a men’s roster that’s about 4 deep when it comes to interesting talent. We’ll see the following Evolution Eliminator matches: Lash Legend vs Kelani Jordan, Thea Hail vs Jaida Parker, Izzi Dame vs Zaria, and Jordynne Grace vs Lola Vice. Blake Monroe (fka Mariah May most recently in that other place) will sign her contract, and the trio of Trick Willaims and First Class battles Josh Briggs, Yoshiki Inamura, and… ELIJAH? OH GOD, NO….

Kat has last night’s episode of Monday Night Raw covered for us in great detail, Phrederic brings us the May 11th edition of All Japan’s Champion Carnival, and hey, you can boost my numbers by checking out the Fan-Cam from Rancho Cucamonga on June 30th, 1994. If you don’t, you’ll get 13 years of bad luck. That’s how it works, right?

According to Uncle Dave, the injury might have happened in her match with Mercedes Mone, and the debut of Thekla was a convenient way to write her off, and assures us it will be followed up on (he only says it 3 times in consecutive sentences).

Charlotte Flair Not Hopeful Women Can Close WrestleMania
The 14-time, 47-days accumulated reign of future Hall of Famer Charlotte Flair is convinced that unless WrestleMania goes back to one night (Nick Khan can be heard in the distance doing the Mrs. Krabappel laugh), the women will never the final match of the weekend. Yeah, that’s some optimistic thinking from the Queen of meaningless title runs.

Mick Foley defends the TNA Championship in a King of the Mountain Match against A.J. Styles, Kurt Angle, Jeff Jarrett, and Samoa Joe. Also on the card, Team 3D defends the Tag Team Titles against Beer Money, Abyss and Taylor Wilde vs Raven and Daffney in a Monster’s Ball Match, and MORE.

The New York Yankees continue to struggle against bottom-feeders, while the Philadelphia Phillies are licking their lips with the Miami Marlins on the schedule after a tough week of dealing with the Toronto Blue Jays and Chicago Cubs… Oklahoma City took Game 5 of the NBA Finals, and Tyrese Haliburton is a game-time decision for Game 6, so things aren’t looking great for the Pacers. The Knicks still have no clue what they are doing with their search for a head coach… The Stanley Cup Finals resume tonight, with the Florida Panthers one game from finishing off the Edmonton Oilers for the second year in a row.
