CM Punk Working WWE Night Of Champions Has Been Known Internally For Months

It has been reported that the decision to have CM Punk wrestle in Saudi Arabia on June 28 at the Night of Champions PLE has been known internally for a couple of months. This decision was made despite Punk previously being very outspoken against WWE’s deal with the Saudi government, with Punk once tweeting at The Miz telling him to “go suck a blood money covered d**k in Saudi Arabia.”

Mariah May’s New Name Revealed On WWE NXT

The former AEW Women’s World Champion Mariah May has officially been given a new name on last night’s episode of NXT, with her new moniker being “Blake Monroe”. Monroe made her NXT debut on last week’s episode and laid out her intentions of going after the NXT Women’s Title.

Alberto El Patron To Face Vikingo For AAA Mega Title At Triplemania Regia

After WWE spoiled the outcome of their May 31 clash for the AAA Mega Title by announcing on the May 26 episode of Raw that El Hijo del Vikingo would defend the AAA Mega Championship against Chad Gable at Worlds Collide on June 7, Alberto El Patron will get his chance to recapture AAA’s top prize as he faces Vikingo at Triplemania Regia on June 15.

Dave Meltzer Weighs In On WWE’s Creative Direction For New WHC Gunther

Dave Meltzer has spoken about what he thinks WWE’s creative direction will be for Gunther after he recaptured the World Heavyweight Championship on Monday’s episode of Raw. Meltzer stated that, due to the number of heel champions on the show, The Ring General will likely be set to turn babyface in the near future.
