WWE Close To Finalising Deal For WrestleMania 42 In Las Vegas
It has been reported that WWE is “very close” to closing the deal to bring WrestleMania to “Sin City” next year. It was originally planned for Mania 42 to be held in New Orleans, but instead, they will be getting the Money in the Bank PLE in 2026, and the Allegiant Stadium looks set to be hosting WrestleMania for the second consecutive year.
WWE Announces Ricky Saints Suffered Laryngeal Contusion
It was announced on last night’s episode of NXT that Ricky Saints has suffered a laryngeal contusion injury, and an image of the CT scan of Saints’ larynx was provided. It is currently unknown when Saints will be able to return to the ring.
Former AEW Women’s World Champion and Women’s Owen Hart Cup 2024 winner, Mariah May, has officially made her WWE NXT debut. May immediately inserted herself into the NXT Women’s Title picture on last night’s episode when she confronted current NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne, setting out her intentions to challenge for the belt.
More WWE Releases May Be Coming
The Wrestling Observer’s Bryan Alvarez has spoken about the possibility of more WWE releases coming following the recent releases of R-Truth, Carlito, and Valhalla. Alvarez said that he has been told that more releases are to be expected, and he speculated that due to WWE teasing a potential breakup between The Miz and Carmello Hayes on SmackDown, The Miz could be the next name on the chopping block.
