“Dave Meltzer says there's plenty you can criticize Tony Khan for, AEW's a promotion with flaws that has lost some popularity, but he wasn't a money mark like some said. The goal from day one was to make money, and now they will be.
In fact, Dave says with this deal, AEW will now be the second most profitable wrestling promotion in the history of the business.
“Once you're profitable, the term 'money mark' goes out the window.” Dave says this is complete vindication for Tony Khan.”
