Obviously one of, if not the greatest of all time right? However I watching a bunch of older WWE stuff and I don't think JR gets enough flack for how many times he sounded over it. Like he'd rather be anywhere else, I don't know if he's a moody person or whatever but there were so many matches where JR just sounded bored out of his mind. Kind of like how baseball commentators sound when the games arent the most exciting. I know it's hard to be excited for Al Snow vs Crash Holly but damn, atleast pretend. Never once have I ever heard Cole, Taz, Mauro, Vic Joseph or even Excalibur sound completely out of it no matter what was on.
If you really want to hear JR checked out, try watching 1990 WCW where he had to do all those syndicated shows solo. He desperately needs a heel commentator to bounce off of.
