Scott,
Any particular reason you can think that Vince didn’t ask Flair to hang around until WM9 so he could have a better card and job him out there?
Flair just really wanted to go back to WCW as soon as possible and Vince wanted him off the books and done. Neither side was happy and it was better just to cut bait on him.
