Wrath of Bryan Clark

Good Morning Mr. Keith. Your observation of how over Kronik was in your BATB2K rant got me thinking. How would Bryan Clark have fared to getting an actual singles push when he was Wrath? Let’s say Nash doesn't wedge himself in, and at the very least WCW has a team backstage that can book Clark to his strengths. Do you go right into what worked for Goldberg, a lengthy undefeated streak, even though Goldbergs is still going on? Do you slowly build him up against talented mid-card performers who would bump their asses off for him? Even as a Wrath fan, Bryan in all his gimmicks, didn't have the best work-rate history, but looking back I can't tell if its mostly on him, or just neither company throwing the right kind of opponents his way. Well outside of Evil Doink, which had its moments.
Just to be clear here, I was advocating for Wrath at the time because it was a fun midcard gimmick and I hate Kevin Nash, not because I think Wrath was a hidden gem future World champion or anything. He had already hit his ceiling by 1998, realistically.
