All Out/Chicago
By Scott Keith on 7 September 2024
Hey Scott,
I read the reports that All Out is not even close to selling out, and I recognize that one of the issues is that the time between All In and All Out is clearly too short. But is it possible that AEW has also burned out Chicago as a market? I know Tony Khan is from that area, so it's sentimental to him, and I don't think they've gone so far as killing the town, but it seems like they've run far too many shows in Chicago or Chicago's vicinity and need to give it some time to breathe. I imagine that the AEW/CM Punk soap opera also hasn't helped matters in the market?

Yes to a degree, but Wrestletix has them at 8300 sold for tonight, which is pretty good. So it’s hard to say they’ve burned anything out there yet.
