PWI Awards
By Scott Keith on 3 September 2024
Quick one, Scott.
To the best of your knowledge, were the PWI publicly-voted end-of-year awards worked or legit?
Part 2 : What was the most egregious miscarriage of justice in said awards?
To the best of my knowledge they were worked in favor of Crockett, but I have actually spoken with Bill Apter on this subject and he swears they were legit. Whatever, it's really all for fun anyways. From my contacts with current PWI guys now, it all sounds totally legit at this point.
That being said, I will NEVER forgive the ridiculous Most Popular award for Dusty Rhodes in 1988, with the explanation being that Savage and Hogan split the vote. I mean, what are we even doing here?
