Jericho Heat

Came across this wonderful article today featuring Mr Chris Jericho:
Which leads to my question, what the heck happened to Chris Jericho? Did the early success of AEW make him go completely mad? He has become what he hated most about veterans in WCW. His special power used to be knowing when the read the room to take a break so fans wouldn't get sick of him, and knowing how to change up his character when returned. It seems like ever since he got knocked to 3rd on the mania card when he was feuding with KO, that also want from a world title feud to a US title feud, he has been hellbent on proving Vince wrong that he still a massive act in wrestling. And for a few years it worked. The early New Japan stuff was great, and I think he def helped establish AEW as a serious threat to WWE with his run as their first champion.
But since then he has been a leach that has suck the heat off anybody who works with them. I can't think of anyone the last few years that was better off once they escaped the vortex of Jericho. Most are cut off at the knees and barely recover. And the worst part is, the guy has made a storyline leaning into all the hate he is getting, making him even more unbearable and proving he absolutely has lost touch with what wrestling fans want.
The learning tree of Jericho is just another rehash of the same group he has put together multiple times. But it's even worse because he knows he has go away heat and he is like trying to prove he doesn't. Some of his comments in this article are crazy. I assume some of it are in character. But just like you couldn't be married to his disgusting wife without believing in the same things she does, I have to believe he sees alot of truth in what he is saying. Which is basically he made Mox, Cody, and the Elite. I think its officially time to rename it Jericho heat instead of X Pac heat.
