The REAL Randy Orton

Hey Scott:

First off, I don't know if you watched the show earlier as I did but hopefully no spoiler on the main event?

I'm sure I'm in the minority but Gunther/Orton was a total slog to sit through and I blame a lot of it on the Viper. Not sure why he has to weigh 290 pounds either but that's a moot point.

I get he will be in WWE HOF, all the title reigns, etc. But personally I hope he retires sooner rather than later. He doesn't look like he gives a crap out there and IMO he is easily one of the most overrated wrestlers in the history of the business. I mean, who are you going to watch more, Orton or Bryan Danielson as an example? There are many other wrestlers who have had more classic matches than Orton has.

I didn't watch the show tonight because it didn't really hold much interest for me, but Orton is a smart worker who is incredibly over and doesn't have to do shit in the ring besides the RKO and people still love him. That's called being a great wrestler. Plus his body is wrecked and he's still making bank from WWE. I respect the hell out of that.
