Why exactly is Roman a face now?

He lost his title at Wrestlemania and just stopped showing up. So we are supposed to cheer him because when he wasn't there Jimmy and Heyman got attacked, or because Solo claimed Tribal Chief because Roman wasn't showing up? But they wouldn't have been attacked and Solo wouldn't have claimed Tribal Chief, if Roman had just bothered to show up once or twice in the past 4 months.
The entire bloodline storyline after Wrestlemania seems like it was written in a world where the Rock beat Reigns at Wrestlemania for Tribal Chief, at least then a lot of this would make sense.
Yeah but it's CINEMA.
Also at least Roman definitively attacked Solo at Summerslam, so that makes him a babyface in storyline.
