When did Tony stop paying you for those positive reviews?
The question is tongue in cheek. Real question is when, in your mind, did AEW go from bring awesome every week to pretty meh much of the time? What was the turning point, and more importantly, how do we get you back on the AEW payroll?
i wouldn't say “meh much of the time”. It's still generally a good show, but I think it really lost a lot of momentum when it got into the Forbidden Door stuff for the first time. And obviously the really big wrench in the works was everything that went down with CM Punk, specifically adding Collision and removing Dark at the same time. And then when Punk left (multiple times) Collision was left without an identity and the entire product felt watered down as a result.
It would never happen anymore, but condensing everything back into Dynamite on a weekly basis would help a lot.
