The Heat is On!

Not sure if you watched NXT Heatwave or plan to, but what a phenomenal show. It easily holds up to any past Takeover show, especially the tag title match. And what's even better is that it was filled with a ton of talent that wwe has built from the ground up. I am sure many won't agree, but I think NXT 3.0 is far superior to Black and Gold because not only do they have great matches and better stories, but you can actually see alot of the talent being able to succeed on the main roster. That was far from the case back in the day. The weekly TV show is alot better as well. Seeing talent like Bron, Tiffany, Oba, Trick, Sol, Jaida, and Kelani progress as fast as they have is unreal, HBK might be my booker of the year. I also think Wes Lee is neck and neck with Johnny G for all time Mr. NXT.
That brings me to the discourse yesterday about the amazing Sol vs Kelani match. These two girls have maybe 50 matches total combined, and had an absolutely amazing match. It was similar to RVD and Jerry Lynn or Ospreay vs Ricochet, with even including a few spots from that match as an homage I would assume. Both are accomplished in gymnastics, like Tiff, which helped both excel quickly. So of course Dave and Bryan trash the match, calling it not a wrestling match but an exhibition and just moves. They said they were talented by basically crapped on the not wrestling match. I know there are alot of Observer subscribers on here, so just curious how they can follow or defend Dave after this latest evidence of clearly bias reporting because when has Dave ever hated a match that was just moves? The What Dave Meltzer Said X account had a field day with this and proving Dave a hypocrite, as he played Bryan and Dave's review of the Ospreay and Ricochet match and they absolutely loved it as one example. Plus every Will Ospreay match is basically just moves, especially his early stuff. And I have never seen more of exhibition/gymnastics match than Bucks vs Lucha Bros in a cage which Dave also loved. So, does Dave just hate women, or can he just not stand to give WWE and NXT the credit they deserve? And how are there still people who pay for opinions that is clearly from a hypocrite that only likes a style of match depending on the promotion?
So you’re saying that since you loved the NXT match and it’s exactly the same as every Will Ospreay match, then logically you must love every Will Ospreay match. Glad you finally came around.
