What is the end goal here with Jericho and how is Tony so blind to see we are not laughing along with Jericho on this one. I understand Jericho having some good will with Tony after the first couple of successful years in AEW, but what is he seeing now that the rest of us our missing that he keeps cramming Jericho down our throats? Jericho was the king of walking away when he was getting stale, and now he has completely lost the ability to read the room. The Jericho vortex has been a thing for a few years now, and that's not a good thing. This is Vince levels of stubbornness by going all meta and leaning into on TV. I can't remember the last person who benefitted from working with Jericho, but yet they keep giving him groups and TV time.
I also find it funny all the complaints about the lack of hard hitting questions at WWE media scrums, but has anyone asked any follow up questions about the Kylie Rae/Jericho stuff? Or about how Jericho's wife is maybe one of the most vile, disgusting Jan 6 patriots out there. People losing their minds over Logan Paul interviewing Trump, but seem ok that Jericho's wife timeline is nothing but hate speech and conspiracy theories. There is no way you could be married to someone who thinks the way she does unless you believe a majority of that stuff yourself. Spend 5 mins on her Twitter, it's Lara Loomer levels of crazy.
Hey now, Laura Loomer is the most entertainingly batshit crazy follow on Twitter. They could legitimately make a wrestling character based on her and probably get it over.
The Jericho stuff is terrible, but if you can't laugh at Bryan Keith snapping “THAT BABY BETTER RESPECT CHRIS JERICHO!” then you, my friend, are a soulless monster.
