So, with Ricochet’s contract coming up, and word breaking that he won’t be renewing with WWE, how does his tenure rank, what out of ten would you give it?

Did he fulfil all his potential?

Feels about a 7, 7.5 if we’re being kind, let’s say ***1/2

Moved to main roster Feb 2019
Has won the Intercontinental title, the United States title, and the NXT North American title plus the new fangled yoof / kidz Speed title (makes sense why they’ve jobbed him to Andrade and Bron recently).

Big Royal Rumble and SummerSlam spots with Logan Paul which surely helped him and Logan.

Is this overachieving, about right, under achievement for the talent on offer?

Surely AEW beckons, stick him in great matches with Ospreay, Danielson, Orange, Swerve, Takeshita, among many others, and you make him a solid mid card hand, probably an International, TNT or Continental champion. Then he can do some NJPW tours as part of his contract.

He's been a solid hand for WWE and got the IC title, so that's good for him. And yeah, I think the connections with NJPW and the ability to do all the indies he wants are the main selling points for him.
