C’mon ref!

Hey Scott,
Hope all is super duper.
While I currently have no internet due to a faulty modem (thanks Bell!), I decided to unearth some of my old wrestling DVDs and watched Bret/Owen vs the Quebecers, which of course ended by ref stoppage and led to the Owen heel turn.
It was funny to me how terrible that stoppage was. Like, the ref was concerned that a guy in a wrestling match had an injured leg? He must've felt even worse when Owen kicked it out of it.
Anyway, the question being, what is the worst kayfabe referee decision ever? And heel refs like Danny Davis don't count. Does this rank up there?

The ref in the Lawler-Von Erich match at Superclash was objectively the worst, calling Kerry unable to continue while he was actively beating Lawler with the claw. Really all referees are terrible.
