How bad does AEW miss MJF?

Would an MJF return reignite AEW? Seems like they desperately need a boost of some kind & the big money signings haven’t done it.
It still blows my mind that Better Than You Bay Bay got over so huge organically and they just threw it all away for the Devil shit that killed off both guys.
