Stiffer/unsafer/injuries?

A surface look at TV lately shows evidence of a lot more “snug” work in both major feds (maybe more of a change in the WWE), and I also see a lot more hard way bleeding happening. Even last night, you had some minor blood from Iyo Sky, and a potential broken nose for Dakota Kai.
Now, I don’t know if there’s any one to one correlation with the current injury bug at all and these things (there probably isn’t), but are we getting to the point where these more snug, athletic matches are going to have a negative impact on who is healthy? Inquiring minds want to know.
Hell yeah there's a 100% correlation. These guys, on both sides, are going out there and doing stuff that's way too crazy for weekly TV and they're killing their bodies. Sure, you can say that some injuries are complete freak accidents like Adam Cole or Santana, but look at what just happened to Eddie Kingston for absolutely no reason other than his own weird desire to destroy himself while trying to get over on a show that wasn't even AEW. I would be absolutely fine if people toned it down a lot and leaned more into character work again, or at least saved the truly crazy stuff for PPV instead of wasting it on Rampage.
