AEW Venue Choices

Hey Scott,
In reading your “Heatwave 2000” rant, where they sold 5700 at the venue they were at, has anyone figured out why AEW doesn't book these smaller cool venues? I love every show they do at Daily's Place and it feels different. It seems like it would cost less as well.
It costs less in the sense that they own the building, but they killed off Daily's Place during the pandemic and now they can barely draw 2000 there for a Dynamite. Luckily it looks packed on TV even with a small crowd because of the setup but the place can hold way more than that.
But yeah, smaller venues are the way to go. We all wanna see them run the Hammerstein, I think. For a while in the early days they were doing cool stuff like the Jericho boat and other wacky locations, but it's fallen off completely now and they're just doing the LED board arenas so they can swap places around interchangeably. I really hate it.
