Whats the Point?

It was great seeing Omega, as his promo was one of the few bright spots of the show. I think he has also earned alot of respect from fans from how open he has been on his streams, and it's gotten him alot of new fans. So it was great to see him and I am sure he needed it as well. But I have to assume he is not gonna be ring ready any time soon since he hasn't even had his surgery yet. They teased Okada vs Kenny but that could be months away, may not even happen til 2025. And with the way this AEW vs Elite angle is going, I can't imagine anyway what's to sit thru 6 to 8 months of this for an eventual payoff of Okada vs Omega that won't come close to any of their previous matches.
I get they wanted heat, but feels like it would have been better to get it from somewhere else that has a shorter payoff. And I am not really sure anyone really hates the Bucks anymore than they did before the show yesterday because they attacked Omega. It just felt like a missed opportunity that could lead to something sooner. Aew needs to worry about the short term right now. Also, if Bucks are picking challengers why would it not be the one of the two guys they working with in Okada or Jack vs Christian who they have zero connection with? You telling me Jack is fine with Christian getting a title shot over him? I mean it's not like Christian has done anything in the last month to earn it. Jack would make more sense.
Yeah I’m not sold on Christian either. Swerve needs a stronger guy unless they’re going really long term with him and putting something really big underneath on that show.
