So Uncle Melty actually tweeted as a defense for Collision’s viewership falling off a cliff after the NBA game, “WWE went from like 5.3 million to 2 million following an NFL game.”
When in television history has pro football ever been a lead-in for WWE programming? The NFL has never been on USA, and they don’t have games on Friday nights going into Smackdown.
So the only conclusion one can come to, if one is a rational human being, is that Dave Meltzer is at the point where he’s just blatantly making up bullshit to protect Tony’s vanity project.
